The Georgia Association of Business Brokers is launching a new educational program which will help our members achieve proficiency in the profession of business brokerage.
The Board Certified Business Broker designation, or BCBB, is intended to make clear to prospective clients that the broker has the knowledge and skills to professionally represent them in future transactions.
The GABB operates Georgia’s only Real Estate School dedicated specifically to business brokerage. The BCBB curriculum includes 42 hours of coursework covering a wide range of topics important to business brokers in the areas of valuation, finance and legal issues.
The program is designed to be completed within a two-year period.
Throughout the year, the GABB offers many opportunities to network and learn. We hold a General Meeting on the last Tuesday of the month, which includes a networking session followed by a presentation from an industry expert tailored to our broker community.
Through our Board Certified Business Broker (BCBB) program, we offer courses specifically related to business brokerage, where members may earn credits toward their BCBB certification and also fulfill continuing education requirements for their Georgia real estate license. We offer conferences in the Spring and Fall.
Our year concludes with our Annual Holiday Gala, typically held the first week of December, where we celebrate broker members who have completed more than one-million dollars of transactions for the year. Explore our calendar to learn more about meetings and events.
