Biographical Info
Denise is the Broker/Owner of Landmark Commercial & Residential Properties, concentrating on both Commercial & Residential new construction, resale, office, retail and industrial leasing, and distressed asset transactions. She has over 19 years of experience helping hundreds of families and business owners buying, selling and leasing their properties. She is a member of the National Association of REALTORS®, Georgia Association of REALTORS® and DeKalb Association of REALTORS®. She has earned the Lifetime Phoenix Award Level of recognition for DeKalb Association of REALTORS® Pinnacle Awards Top Producer Club.
Denise is an influential leader and was serving as the 2018 President of the DeKalb Association of REALTORS® (DAR). She is the first Asian American President since DAR established in 1957. Working closely with other leaders and members in DAR, under her leadership she established Commercial Council and Past President Advisory Group in 2018. She had been served in numerous officer roles in DAR including 2017 President-Elect, Vice President of Finance as well as Chair of the Investment Committee, By-Laws and Policy Committee, Strategic Planning Committee and Sponsorship Committee. She also served on the Board of Directors for Georgia Multiple Listing Service (MLS) in 2018. Currently, she serves as a State Director, Member of Professional Development Committee and Form Committee for the Georgia Association of REALTORS® (GAR). She is 2019 Treasurer of the Women’s Council of Realtors, DeKalb Network. She servers as the 2020 Board of Directors for the Hong Kong Association of Atlanta. She has been serving in Atlanta Commercial Board of REALTORS® Form Committee since 2010 and was one of the key members to help the Board to transform their online Form System for different internet browsers. She is currently serving in GAR as their Vice Chair for Commercial Connection.
Denise has received several National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) certifications and designations including the prestigious CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member), CRS (Certified Residential Specialist), ABR (Accredit Buyer’s Representation) and BPOR (Broker Price Opinion Resource). She is a recipient of the 2018 National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) National Commercial Award. She is a Gold Level Major Investor in REALTORS® Political Action Committee (RPAC) and is a member of the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) President Circle; and also a strong advocate for homeownership and private property rights.
During her Presidency in 2018, U.S. Representative of the Fourth District of Georgia, Henry C. “Hank” Johnson, Jr., issued an official proclamation setting on May 10, 2018, as DeKalb Association of REALTORS® Day. This proclamation highlights DeKalb REALTORS® as a champion for civil rights through DeKalb County and the state, ensuring the rights and liberties of our citizens in Georgia are guaranteed through the U.S. Constitution.
Denise is also very passionate about education and volunteering. She is an active PSTA member in Fulton County School System where her children are attending the school. She helps to Chaperon several in state and out of state trips for the School. She was a Vice-Chair at Atlanta Contemporary Chinese Academy (a non-profit organization) from 2012 to 2018. She also volunteers in Habitat for Humanity, Dynamo Swim Club and Food Bank. In order to help residential agents to learn and understand about commercial real estate, she’s teaching Commercial CE class at REST Institute. Also, in 2018, with the help of other leaders in DAR and CCIM Georgia Chapter, she brought the first CCIM Foundation Class to DAR.
As a full-time REALTORS®, Denise works very hard to balance work and life. She enjoys listening to classical music, watching movies, hiking/jogging, swimming/diving (PADI certified diver), casual/fine dining (self-proclaimed Foodie) and traveling. Whenever she has time, she will travel with her family to different countries or places. She and her husband sponsored many different non-profit and faith-based organizations in Asia and the United States by donating money to build schools and organized clothes or food drive every year to help others.
